In posts – Family Weekend, we want to show you, how you can spend one nice weekend in Montenegro and give you some ideas about some amazing places in Montenegro.

For this weekend, we choose Montenegro Coast and one of the most famous and prestigious places – Sveti Stefan (St Stephen). Located only 15 minutes drive from Budva, Sveti Stefan is certainly one of the tourist icons of Montenegro. It’s no wonder, when you visit this beautiful place you’ll immediately feel why Sophia Loren, Sylvester Stallone, and many other celebrities, just chose Sveti Stefan for your favorite place to vacation.

The smell of pine forests, beautiful beaches, to the waves, birds, creating a feeling asyou’re in a fairy tale. Truly a beautiful place. Today it is managed Aman Resort, world-renowned brand in the high tourism. Unfortunately Sveti Stefan is still not fullyrenovated, but it is expected that in the summer of 2011 shone in full splendor.

Today we have fantastic weather, temperature 19C, sunny weather (Weather-Montenegro.com), beautiful for some nice walk through the Sveti Stefan park. Just few minutes from Sveti Stefan, over a small hill, there is a Milocer and the exclusive hotel that once belonged to the royal family. In the beautiful park, full of different trees from all over the world, there is this gorgeous fully renovated exclusive hotel. In front of him was a long, sandy beaches of reddish stone. Amazing.

When you think that there is nothing more beautiful than this place, just a few minutesfrom the hotel Milocer, is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in the world - the Queen’s beach. In a park full of olive trees, there is location of this small amazing beach. Unfortunately, swimming is not allowed except for hotel guests. We have certainly had a chance to swim for years on Queen’s beach, and we can say that it really is something unimaginable.

After several hours of pure enjoyment, going back full of wonderful thoughts and feelings.

We want you for a moment feel this beautiful place and we have prepared a photo gallery of Sveti Stefan, Milocer and Queen’s Beach. You can also visit Visit-Montenegro.TV and enjoy in video. All photos and videos were taken today!

    Hello!
We (I and my wife) were in Montenegro in september 2011. We stayed in Budva for about 8 nights. And, as we heard before about Sveti Stefan, we decided to visit it. We were wery disappointed that the island is only opened for the people staying in the hotel. Nobody previously told us that we are not alowed to visit the churches inside and all the beautiful buildings.
In this respect, I consider that to advertise Sveti Stefan without mentioning that someone must actualy stay there in order to see it, is a fake advertising.

    • Dear sir/madam,

Thank you for your comment. WE TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU ! We also can not understand why they do not allow visit Sveti Stefan for ALL tourists. This is stupid act and can be bad for tourism. But unfortunately, we do not have influence to change that or any other stupid decision. This is ONLY way how we can together make some pressure and change things to better. Thank you again.
